AEC Specialist to Present at Upcoming Student Workshops
Dec. 28, 2007 - MADISON, Wis. - Continuing the MasterGraphics
tradition of serving as a catalyst between industry and education, David
Lidbury, a Senior Application Engineer, will be presenting at two student industry
workshops: the AIAS FORUM 2007 in
Milwaukee, Wis., as well as the Learning for Life Career Explorer Group session
set to take place in Appleton, Wis.
AIAS (American Institute of Architect Students) FORUM 2007:
Lidbury will be leading a 2.5 hour mini-workshop providing a hands-on approach to working with building information modeling software Autodesk Revit Architecture at the annual AIAS FORUM on Dec. 30, 2007. Nearly 1,000 architecture and design students from around the world are expected to attend the FORUM, which is being hosted by the UW-Milwaukee chapter of American Institute of Architect Students.
CAREER EXPLORER GROUP SESSION:
The Career Explorer Session will be held at The Boldt Company's Appleton office at 2525 N. Roemer Rd., and is sponsored by the Boy Scouts Bay-Lakes Council as part of its Learning for Life program. On Jan. 17, 2008, Lidbury will be leading the 1.5 hour session on Autodesk Revit Architecture for 50 students in an effort to demonstrate how construction-related business partners use technology.
Organized by The Boldt Company, the exclusive educational session targets both girls and boys between the ages of 15-20 and is designed to demonstrate how construction-related business partners use technology.
